My 9800 is running Bundle 2949 (v6.0.0.668, Platform 6.6.0.236)

I downloaded “9800 6.0.0.3106/6.0.0.723 (all languages)” from the Sticky.

However, when I run loader.exe, the install routine tells me that I’ll be downgrading the software version on my device.

I had Japanese input capability on OS 7.0.0.254 and extracted all of my COD files.

Now that I’m on OS 7.1.0.190 that doesn’t have Japanese input support, does anyone know which COD files I’d need to inject in order to install Japanese input?

I’ve been syncing my 8520 with Outlook 2007 for months now without any problem.

But all of a sudden, I’m getting those funny characters (file attached.)

Has someone seen this and knows what to do about it?
