Contacts sync problem

I’m trying to re-sync contacts from Outlook Express to a new BB Bold 9900 through Desktop Manager. Halfway through the process, the sync freezes with the error message ‘connector specific error’. Unable to proceed. I have 580 contacts to sync!

I cannot get this to work, i even went through the blackberry.com/integrate steps, and I keep getting a message saying i need to turn imap on in my gmail account.
I have already disabled, save, enabled, save imap and nothing.
Any ideas?

Google Maps makes Bing maps look useable

Google’s bb app is nice on all bb phones, but wow their maps site is impossible on PB. I thought the Bing Maps was crap until i started trying to use the google maps site.

Phone Locked – Unlock with Password

Must have pressed something on my bold 9000 last night activating the password protected lock screen and now can’t get rid of that.

Anyone has an idea of how I can get rid of that?
Tried through the password, however “Enabled” is not clickable.

Would appreciate any help.

Multiple times I have selected Text Messages to Mark as Favorite and for a time it can be found on the Favorites screen but at some point it vanishes from there and again I go through the routine of reselecting it. What’s up?

e-mail viewing issue

Morning!

So I have an odd issue. Whenever I open an unread e-mail, it appears to be zoomed in. Meaning I have to pinch out to zoom out to see the e-mail in its entirety. Looked through the settings but can’t find a setting for it. Suggestions?
