I removed an application and restarted my BB. Now my texting icon is gone. I have had people send me a text. The red light is flashing, but I see no red star anywhere. Ive also phoned the cell, and it did not ring, nor did it send the message

When I send an email from one of my pop emails on my BB it send the message with what I typed in two lines.
Example : If I was to say Hi Sarah Will i see you tonight? It would look like
