Media Card insertion problems and format.

I bought my Bold 9650 last sunday(11/07/10) and put a GSM(Globe Telecom) sim card in it..it works but when I’m at home the 3G signal is sometimes terrible..and one other thing sometimes the contact updates on BBM and their pictures dont show up…what should i do?:(
