I have been given a blackberry storm 9500. It isn’t on contract, it has a vodafone pay as you go sim card in it at the moment. It says vodafone uk on the screen and it also shows signal and ’3g’ in the top right hand corner but it won’t receive any incoming calls. If you phone the number it takes you straight to voicemail. Service status says ‘mobile voice – status: not connected connnection: not connected’ When you run the diagnostics test it says ‘ radio data activation: no signal level: unknown etcetc’ All I want is to be able to make and receive phone calls. Is it possible to run a blackberry on pay as you go?
Its version 4.7.0.181 (Platform 4.0.0.212)
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
