When syncing how do i control media

I have a hard time sorting out the syncing thing and one is with pictures. Sometimes it backups/syncs then copies pictures back to the BB that i do not want there. I have tried every setting in the BB software and phone but i am not getting anywhere.

When there is a missed call BB doesn’t show the number

Hi for some reason the BB doesn’t show the number of a missed call if they leave a message. I prefer not to check messages as it costs money to retrieve and it takes so long it could be somethign urgent. Does anyone know how to change this or is
Switch problem (under trackball)

The BB 9000 I have has developed a problem with the click switch located under the trackball.
Essentially this is no more than a dome shaped piece of metal which goes slightly flat when compressed thus making contact on the pcb.
The problem is that this now inverts when pressed

I don’t hear any sounds when receiving alerts, calls, playing music. I thought it must have been a software bug, but i did a complete wipe, but even now that i completely reset the phone i still cant hear any sounds. So could this be an actual hardware problem?

Backing up of pictures

Hi i get annoyed when i do a backup or sync with the desktop software that the previous backup of pictures is copied back onto the BB. I deleted them off the device for a reason and don’t want them back on it. Is there anyway i can stop this

More often lately my BB 9000 loses its signal showing the SOS symbol.
I only ever carry this in my pocket and the situation occurs when out and about.
