Easiest Way to transfer to a new 8330?

My 8330 broke (well, I dropped it). It’s still functional but needs replacement. My brother is giving me his (like new!). What’s the easiest way to transfer everything over? I see threads that Desktop manager does a so-so job (not all application settings transfer, etc). Is there a better tool?
