So I’m new to the blackberry community, and I just got this Curve 8520 last week. It seems to be working fine, a couple of hiccups here and there, but nothing serious. I have one issue that’s been bugging me.

I notice that there is software version 5.0 and newer ones out, but mine is v4.6.1.286 (Platform 4.2.0.122). When I go to “wireless update”, there don’t seem to appear any updates that come up. Is it a matter of if my ISP authorises the software updates for my blackberry?
