First problem: can’t receive BBM messages over wifi.

I was roaming in Australia and tried to set my blackberry to receive BBM messages over wifi. However, it didn’t work. Would appreciate any advice on how to work it. Another in the group had a BB 9700 and it worked fine with similar setting for him

Data Services: On
While roaming: Off
Wifi: On

Is there any other setting that I should have tinkered with to enable it?

Second problem: also during my australian trip – I tried to change my SIM card to an australian SIM card (from Telstra) & my BB prompted me to delete my profile. Is there anyway to bypass this?
